Reports coming in from the Film Chamber indicate that the issue will take more time to be resolved and if it isn’t, then ‘CGR’ might not make it to the screens on the announced date of October 18.
“Yes, we’ve received the complaint but going by the developments, Danayya is keen to settle the issue with Jagan who is in Bangkok now. Once he returns the issue it appears will be solved amicably,” said producer’s council secretary Prasanna Kumar when Hans Talkies contacted him on Monday.
“In case Danayya fails to return the amount and if there is no understanding between the two, then there are chances for film’s post-production to be affected big time. The Chamber will decide calling no-cooperation for the film and Danayya’s future films may also fall in line”, added Prasanna Kumar.
Having worked with Jagan for films like ‘Desamudhuru’ and ‘Neninthe’ in the past, Danayya who has big plans to release ‘CGR’ on a large scale come the third week of October is bound to bury the hatchet, said sources close to the producer.
Meanwhile, the lead actor of the film Pawan Kalyan has refrained from involving in this controversy which took the industry by surprise on last Friday.
